Design Flings
These are one-offs, cyclical, and medium sized projects that can be controversial to a designer but that doesn't make them any less important, fun and special. My approach to them is, how do I make these impactful but also work within or elevate the brand systems that they stem from? Below are emails, landing page hero images, t-shirts, posters, icons, infographics and other quick-turn, small-budget, more often than not last-minute requests that were thrown into my day-to-day mix at various brands.
The challenges for most of these involved adhering to partnership brand constraints, brand consistency & hierarchy, and the usual quick turnarounds/deadlines, prioritizing/validating ever-shifting goals, timelines, specs and business objectives.
